Shanghai Disney Resort Partially Reopening Amid Coronavirus Fears

Tokyo Disney Resort set to reopen next week

As of right now, the Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan remains completely closed. However, it was previously announced that the resort are scheduled to reopen next week on March 16, along with other theme parks in the area like Universal Studios Japan. And while this currently planned reopening could be pushed back, right now there is no indication that Japan's theme parks will not reopen on time.

Hong Kong Disneyland to stay closed

Though Shanghai Disney Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort have reopening plans in place, there has been no word yet about a reopening of Hong Kong Disneyland, and there have been no updates about when we might expect news about a reopening.

Though things are getting more serious in the US with regard to Coronavirus at theme parks, it looks like things could be getting back to normal soon in Asia. In the meantime, all travelers should check out the CDC's official site here, which has information on the virus and preventing its spread.
