Kid’s Sink: Yes

Overall Score: 8.2

These restrooms are located past the Yak and Yeti restaurant and Kali River Rapids, but before the entrance to the Maharajah Jungle Trek, if you’re just entering Asia. Their alcove is a bit crowded so you may want to designate another spot for meeting up with your party.

Look for This: The siamang and white cheeked gibbon are located just across from these restrooms. In the morning, these primates can make quite a racket.

Worth Pondering: It took a lot of dumps to form Disney’s Animal Kingdom – sixty dump trucks of dirt a day for two years to be exact.

These restrooms have an awkward corner location that makes it nearly impossible to wait for someone outside the doors. This is a good spot to stop before your visit to Expedition Everest, though, if you’re coming from this direction.

Look for This: Just up the road from these restrooms you’ll find a prime photo spot with Everest in the background. The little corner featuring this op is off to the side, making it a good place to meet back up with your party.

Worth Pondering: Animal feces gives lab technicians a wealth of information about the residents of this park. Since it opened, these techs have analyzed over 10,000 samples of poop.

8. Finding Nemo: The Musical

Cleanliness: Women-10, Men-10

Changing Table: W-8, M-7

Kid’s Sink: Yes

Overall Score: 8.3

The Finding Nemo bathrooms are one of the best options in the park. These bathrooms are clean, secluded, and spacious enough that they don’t feel crowded, even after a show dump. If you stop by during a show, you’re almost guaranteed a quiet, private visit.

Look for This: No matter which way you approach Finding Nemo, you’ll pass a sign featuring show times for the day. Look for two Hidden Mickeys on this sign, formed from the bubbles.

Worth Pondering: Animal Kingdom contains vegetation from every continent on earth, except Antarctica.

9. Dinorama

Changing Table: W-9, M-10

Kid’s Sink: Yes

Overall Score: 9.7

If you’re looking for the cleanest, most secluded bathroom in the park, this is probably it. The Dinorama restrooms are off to the side, so it may be that guests simply wander past without noticing them. Regardless, they’re an excellent choice.

Look for This: There’s a tiny Hidden Mickey in the pavement between the restrooms and the photo op spot. Formed from orange rocks, this is one of the more obscure Mickeys in this park.

Worth Pondering: The Tyrannosaurus Rex featured on the path leading up to Dinosaur is an exact replica of the fossil at the Chicago Field Museum.

Located inside the restaurant, these restrooms are really only convenient if you’re eating here. The metal changing tables are a colder than the options you’ll find in other bathrooms, so you might want to skip these if you’re planning a diaper change.

Look for This: Outside the restrooms, on the wall over the trash can you’ll find a classic picture of Walt Disney himself with some of his early prehistoric audioanimatronics.

Worth Pondering: The cycad collection along the Cretaceous Trail near dinosaur is the third largest in North America.

You’ll find these Discovery Island bathrooms across from Flame Tree Barbeque and next to Disney Outfitters. They’re conveniently placed for washing the BBQ sauce off your hands after a sloppy lunch.

Look for This: Flame Tree Barbecue features a predator and prey theme throughout its design. Check out the seating areas located across from this restroom and see if you can spot the predator and prey pairings.

Worth Pondering: The animals in this park consume approximately 160,000 worms and 80,000 crickets every month. Yum!

You can’t help it when you’ve gotta go, but these tips and facts will help you make the most of every moment in Disney’s Animal Kingdom – even the necessary ones.
