3. Pocahontas
You can meet a cast member dressed as the Native American Disney princess, sure, but only in Disneyland Paris can you enjoy the slightly more immersive Pocahontas Indian Village. In the words of the Disneyland Paris website, "Lead your young tribe across the Wild West for a playful powwow climbing and sliding through the legendary princess's village.” It reads that "Pocahontas, Meeko and Grandmother Willow accompany young explorers as they slide, climb and swing through the great outdoors in this playground based on a traditional Native American settlement.” Here is a short video walkthrough demonstrating the joy the Village can bring to guests, especially ones of a younger age, and below is a picture of the Pocahontas Indian village.
4. Tron
In the place of the traditional Space Mountain, the upcoming Shanghai Disneyland theme park is going to have an indoor roller coaster themed after the Disney property Tron. Inspired specifically by the sequel, TRON: Legacy, it will be called Tron Lightcycles Power Run.
For fans of theme parks and the fondly-remembered movie series, Shanghai might be your ideal destination when it opens near the end of 2015. It's just one of a number of Disney parks where you can experience the stories and icons you love in a bigger way.
