This is the weekly news, rumors and refurbishments update for Walt Disney World for the week of July 20, 2014.

Here are the three biggest updates from around the resort for the past seven days...

1. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover opening might be delayed

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover is currently undergoing a refurbishment alongside the refurbishment of the Astro Orbitor. The Peoplemover was originaly supposed to reopen on August 4, but that date might be pushed back by a couple of weeks. Disney has not confirmed this and until then the PeopleMover is still scheduled to reopen on August 4. Just be prepared if the plan changes. The Astro Orbitor is on track to reopen on September 19.

The refurbishment is mainly structural, but guests from inside the park have been reporting a new reddish paint scheme being added. We’ll know soon enough what the final outcome will be.

2. Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All Star Music Resort will be closed for refurbishment

From August 1 to December 20, 2014, the Intermission Food Court at All Star Music will be closed. The refurbishment will bring an updated look to the food court similar to what was done at All Star Sports End Zone Food Court.

There will be a temporary food court in place, but I recommend walking over to All Star Sports or All Star Movies (depending on which building you are located) for your dining needs.

3. The menus for the 2014 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival marketplace kiosks are now available

There are 28 kiosks in total that will be serving you special cuisine from September 19 to November 10, 2014. As usual, there will be a huge variety of dishes on offer.
