3. Jungle Cruise Skipper

Jungle Cruise

Delivering the "spiel" on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland, the Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland is the "skipper". While repeating the same jokes over and over again can become rather repetitive, there are few rides in which a Cast Member plays such as an intergral role in the experience.

Occasionally, a skipper might stray "off-script" and tell a joke or two of their own. They'd better be careful, though - undercover Cast Members dressed in street clothes may catch them in the act and report anything offensive to upper management.

2. Character performer

Disney Princesses

Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and the various Disney Princes and Princesses play a big part in making younger guests' trips to Disney's parks magical. Character performers are "friends" with those characters, who (of course) are real.

And who wouldn't want to be told that they are beautiful enough to hang out with Cinderella or Snow White?

1. Imagineer

Imagineer

The most coveted Disney job by far is that of the Imagineer - the folks who design the incredible rides that populate the company's theme parks. It's not an easy business to break into (particularly as much of the work of building attractions is now outsourced), but few jobs could be so exciting, interesting and rewarding. Not to mention occasionally frustrating - Disney's management have killed dozens of projects over the years into which Imagineers had invested months or even years of effort.

I worked jungle cruise and steam trains. Shocked that JC is above the steam trains. I also worked mansion and had the best time ever!

No one wants to be it, and no one will talk to them because they feel they are beneath them, they may not be the coolest jobs at Disney but without them, the parks would be filthy...CUSTODIAL!!! I am proud to be one of them!!!

Good for you, and thank you for your hard work and dedication! My dad worked custodial way back in the day, back when they were affectionately called "Janies" and were considered the cool guys on campus. He was so cool, in fact, he won the heart of my beautiful mother who worked in a flower shop on Main Street. We make a trip to the park at least once a year, and every time we see one of your crew we smile and say hello. I hope chance smiles upon us and I get to say hi to you when I visit next month. You are a part of the original cool crew. Cheers to you!

I've had three jobs in my life: #'s 1, 2 & 3

What about a confectioner? If nothing else, it's definitely the sweetest job ;) And we don't have to deal with all the monotony of greeter, fastpass, load/unload. Just candy :)
