With news that Universal CityWalk is Opening This Week With Limited Hours, Required Masks, and Temperature Checks, and Disney Springs Officially Beginning Phased Reopening May 20 it will surely not be long before there is an announcement regarding when the theme parks are going to open.
Disney, Universal and SeaWorld as well as all other theme parks across the world have the massive task of devising reopening plans in order to ensure they keep their cast members/employees and guests as safe as possible in the light of COVID-19 still being present.
We heard from Disney last week when it released its Statement Outlining Reopening Plans in the United States the measures we are likely to see when the parks finally reopen. We have to hope that they are gearing up for an official announcement very soon as to when the date for reopening is going to be.
In Poll 15 we asked, Which Walt Disney World Park Can't You Wait To Get Back To The Most? The votes have been streaming in. I love to hear your views and there have been a few comments asking why Disneyland was not on the list? We also have numerous comments inquiring why majority of our content is about Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando? Well the simple reason is that a large percentage of our readers live in Orlando and everybody loves to read about the Orlando parks.
Here at Theme Park Tourist, we love all theme parks across the world and we always aim to bring you news from across the globe as well as publishing as many in-depth features on them as we can. I live in the UK so I can't wait for Alton Towers to open along with our local theme park Pleasurewood Hills which I doubt anybody who is reading this has ever heard of. We can't wait to get back to getting our theme park fix but appreciate this may take time as it has to be done safely.
