16-year old tries to enter shopping district at Tokyo Disney Resort
Over at Tokyo Disney Resort, a 16-year old boy trespassed on the grounds of Tokyo Disney Resort earlier this week. Though the boy did not make it to the theme parks, he was found in the Ikspiari shopping district of the resort, which is mere steps away from the theme parks. However, the boy was removed by local authorities before he could get farther into the resort.
We're not quite sure about the intensions of this boy, and whether or not he was trying to get to the theme park or simply made a mistake crossing on to Tokyo Disney Resort property, but thankfully he was redirected before the situation turned more serious.
While there may be plenty of reasons why someone might try and break in to a Disney Park during the shutdown, it's obviously a very bad idea. Not only is it very dangerous in the current climate to be anywhere but home, but there are also Disney Cast Members as well as local police on site 24/7, so you're basically guaranteed to get caught.
As always, while this situation is evolving, all theme park fans should check out the CDC's official site here, which has information on the virus and how to prevent its spread.
