But this coaster will not be like the current tallest coasters called strata coasters which feature a short layout and a large top hat hill/drop. This will be the longest coaster in the world coming in at almost 2.5 miles long. It will reach speeds over 155 miles per hour and utilize LSM launch technology. The ride experience will be over 3 minutes long.

Six Flags is certainly taking on one of its most ambitious projects ever. Located within the new entertainment district in Saudi Arabia called Qidddiya, it will sit about 40 miles outside the nation’s capital city and is said to be a multi-billion-dollar project.
Six Flags Qiddiya is set to cover 75 acres, have six lands and feature 28 rides and attractions. The headlining attraction, Falcon's Flight which will be manufactured by Intamin, aims to become the world's tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster!
A number of images of concept art have been released and we heard back in March that construction had already begun on this "Super coaster".
Now, ML Designs have posted a precreation video of Falcon's Flight which is coming to Six Flags Qiddiya which will totally blow your mind. It has been created using NoLimits2 and is based on the public 3D blueprints that have been released. The only section which is not confirmed is the clifftop section as public 3D blueprints were not available of this part. Take a look for yourself...
Here are the statistics currently listed which if accomplished will see Falcon's Flight taking the record for being the world's tallest, fastest and longest.
- Height (max) - 606ft beating Kingda Ka 456ft
- Fastest - 155.3mph beating Formula Rossa, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, 149.1 mph
- Longest - 13,123ft/4km beating Steel Dragon, Nagashima Spa Land, Japan 8133ft)
But Falcon's Flight will not be like the current tallest coasters called strata coasters such as Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure which feature a short layout and a large top hat hill/drop. This will be the longest coaster in the world coming in at almost 2.5 miles long (3 min duration). It will reach speeds of over 155 miles per hour and utilize LSM launch technology.
The highlights will include a signature freestanding arch hill and the cliff drop which will be the coasters highest point and will then plummet riders over the edge into an approximate 500ft drop.
We were certainly blown away with this precreation of Falcon's Flight. It looks like is will be a completely unique and thrilling roller coaster and should certainly help to pull the crowds to the new Six Flags Qiddya park when it opens.
According to this recent twitter post by @AzeezLazez, a projected opening date of October 2024 is currently being floated but we hope to have further confirmation of this soon.
