Will this policy also be in effect at Disney's Hollywood Studios?
Though it would be nice if Disney would relax this policy a little bit for Star Wars super-fans visiting Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World, unfortunately because there are so many fans with screen accurate costumes, it seems unlikely that Disney will relax this policy after the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Orlando. And again, since Halloween festivities only happen at Walt Disney World at the Magic Kingdom, it looks like guests won't ever be able to dress up inside Orlando's version of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge either.
It may be disappointing for some fans to hear that all forms of costume, even those purchased inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge are still banned inside Disneyland park (and probably will be inside Disney's Hollywood Studios as well), but unfortunately this move isn't a huge surprise, as Disney has had a longstanding ban on costumes for adults inside its parks, due to safety and other concerns. However, we've seen some very creative DisneyBounds from guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge already, and it will definitely be cool to see how fans continue to find new ways to celebrate their love of Star Wars inside this new land while not veering into "costume" territory.

Do they or should I say "Maybe double standards?" Wdw is offering a full experience for weekly package. This will consist of role playing right down to the garb. Now that would be a shame if Disney let's you "Pay to Play" but not let you spend your hard earned money for a 1 day hotel, food, ticket experience for the day. I guess the 3,700.00 Role playing package to wear a custome comes with a price tag. Just Google (Galaxy's Edge hotel and role playing experience).
