4. Turkey and Monterey Jack on Ciabatta at Sunshine Seasons, Epcot

Sunshine Seasons

Inside The Land pavilion at Epcot, you’ll find one of the park’s best hidden gems. Sunshine Seasons features several food counters for a surprisingly diverse array of meal options in a single establishment.

If you’re craving a filling sandwich, try the Turkey and Monterey Jack on Ciabatta. This giant sandwich features a chipotle mayonnaise that gives it a little extra kick. The sandwich comes with a side of potato salad that makes a nice alternative to the standard fries you find at many other locations. This food court is packed with other extras to fill out your meal, like a bowl of hot soup on the side or tiramisu, cheesecake, or cupcakes for dessert.

5. Grilled Vegetable Sandwich at Backlot Express, Hollywood Studios

Grilled Vegetable Sandwich

The hearty Grilled Vegetable Sandwich at Backlot Express is a great vegetarian choice that’s much more filling than a simple salad. Basil asiago artisan bread is piled with zucchini, tomato, mushrooms, red bell pepper, watercress, and cheese. A layer of tomato pesto gives the sandwich extra kick.

It comes with carrot sticks and French fries. You can also order the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich in a kid’s meal accompanied by carrot sticks and applesauce.

6. Aloha Pork Sandwich at Capt. Cook’s, Polynesian

Capt. Cook's

The counter service restaurant at the Polynesian offers tropical themed fare for a fraction of what you’ll pay at one of their table service locations. If you’re looking for a sandwich with a little island flair, try the Aloha Pork Sandwich.

Served on a pineapple coconut bun, this sandwich has a distinctly sweet flavor. The pork is topped with cheddar cheese, Asian slaw, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Though the menu features several other savory sandwiches, this one offers a sweet touch that just seems to scream Polynesian.

When you want a filling option on the run, stop in for one of these original sandwiches. No matter where you are on property, at least one of these choices is sure to be nearby.
