Days at Disney are almost always busy, with more to do than you can ever seem to fit into the hours available. While table service dining is a great way to kick back, relax, and take in a little Disney magic, there’s something to be said for the quick convenient bite to eat, too.
If you want something fast and affordable but you’re not willing to sacrifice originality or flavor, try one of these standout sandwiches. All are available at convenient counter service locations, but you won’t find a single boring burger in the bunch.
1. Surf and Surf Burger at Landscape of Flavor, Disney's Art of Animation Resort
The Landscape of Flavor food court at the Art of Animation resort is one of the best options for quick service resort dining. The menu here features plenty of mouthwatering options, but one of the most original is the Surf and Surf Burger.
Don’t let the name fool you. This is no ground beef patty. The sandwich features a crab cake and fried popcorn shrimp on a brioche bun. A Cajun remoulade adds a welcome kick of flavor while tomato and lettuce provide a cooling counterpart. Coleslaw and house-seasoned fries are included on the side, making this a complete meal.
2. Slow-Roasted Pulled Beef Sandwich at Tamu Tamu Refreshments, Disney's Animal Kingdom
Tamu Tamu Refreshments is a quick service food counter with shaded outdoor seating that makes it a convenient choice for a quick meal. The Slow-cooked Pulled Beef Sandwich features flavorful spicy beef drizzled with a refreshing mint yogurt cucumber sauce.
This sandwich is served on a pita and accompanied by your choice of house-made chips or apple slices. Don’t forget to grab a pineapple whip for dessert. This is one of just a few places on property that you can find this frozen treat.
3. Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich at Sleepy Hollow, Magic Kingdom
In Liberty Square you’ll find a quick service food counter with some of the most original offerings in the park. Among its indulgences is the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich. This sandwich features a freshly made waffle in place of bread or a bun. On top you’ll find a breaded fried chicken breast coated in a sweet and spicy sauce. Arugula and coleslaw on top cool off the heat, giving you a balanced treat that’s truly original.
This sandwich doesn’t come with a side, but between the thick waffle and generous chicken patty, this is a filling option on its own. Consider completing your meal with one of the standout drink options available at Sleepy Hollow, such as a Coca-Cola Float or Liberty Swirl Slush.

I just ate at the Backlot last Friday and the veggie sandwich is still there but it is now served in a spinach wrap with homemade potato chips. Best sandwich I have eaten from a quick service restaurant.
