AQUAMAN: Power Wave officially opened at Six Flags Over Texas on Saturday March 11, 2023. AQUAMAN: Power Wave is the park's 14th roller coaster and this opening date has come at the perfect time to thrill the Spring Break crowds.
According to online reviews so far, this roller coaster come water ride is certainly thrilling guests already. Take a look for yourself in the is POV video which is embedded below.
AQUAMAN: Power Wave is a steel launched water shuttle roller coaster from Mack Rides. The ride has a huge U-shaped track with two vertical ends. Twenty riders sit 4 abreast in a large "boat" which is powered back and forwards along the track. At each end of the "U" riders are suspended vertically at a height of 148 feet before dropping down and travelling at up to 63mph along the 700 foot long track. Prepare to get wet as the boat splashes through water on its final run. Loading speed is increased by having two boats on a novel turntable so that the second boat can be pre-loaded whilst the first is on its run. You can see a glimpse of what to expect in the tweet below.
You can also check out the video below which shows what guests will experience in further detail.

Six Flags fans are excited to see if the company plan to clone AQUAMAN: Power Wave and bring it to other parks in the chain. There has already been some noise that Six Flags Magic Mountain could be a possible home as well as Six Flags Over Georgia. We will have to wait for confirmation on this but it certainly looks hopeful.
