Walt Disney World 50th, Disney

This week there has been a big change to the mask policy at Walt Disney World regarding transport. Those guests that are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear face masks when on the Disney Skyliner.

Since February 17, masks have not been required for fully vaccinated guests whilst at Walt Disney World apart from when on enclosed Disney transportation, including Disney buses, monorails, and Disney Skyliner. With masks no longer required for fully vaccinated guests on the Disney Skyliner it leads us to assume that we are likely to see the relaxing of the mask rules for fully vaccinated guests on the monorail and Disney buses soon.

As of now, guests that are not fully vaccinated are still required to wear masks in all indoor locations, including restaurants, except when actively eating or drinking while stationary. Disney does not require proof of vaccination so this is purely relying on people being honest about their vaccination status.

Currently, masks are still required on the monorail and all buses at Walt Disney World resort for ALL GUESTS regardless of vaccination status. For details of all measures in place at Walt Disney World visit the official site here. We will update you on any changes to this policy on our news and Facebook page.
