Magic Key

Earlier this year Disney announced that it was completely cancelling Disneyland's Annual Passholder program and would be replacing it with a new “park loyalty and affinity program” named Magic Key.

And now it looks like the first details about this program have been released, and perhaps unsurprisingly for some, Magic Key looks a LOT like Disneyland's old annual pass program, with different pass tiers that come with unique restrictions and perks. Note: NONE of the Magic Key options include MaxPass or PhotoPass perks.

Here's a quick rundown of all of the different options for this "new" program including prices:

Dream Key – $1399

  • No blockout dates
  • Parking included
  • Guests can have 6 park reservations at a time, booked 90 days in advance.
  •  20% off of merchandise and 15% off select food and beverage discount.

Believe Key – $949

  • Some blockout dates
  • 50% off of theme park parking
  • Guests can have 6 park reservations at a time,
  • 10% off of merchandise and 10% off of select food and beverage discount

Enchant Key – $649

Magic Key passholders will be able to make park reservations via their own access calendar, which shows admission and blockout dates and current park reservation availability inside the Disneyland app. Disney is implementing a no-show policy for reservations that applies to all passes. If a guest must cancel a park reservation, they will need to do so by 11:59 p.m. PT on the day before and if they have three no-shows within a 90-day window, they will be blocked from making park reservations for 30 days.

Magic Keys will go on sale on August 25th on Disneyland's official website. You can learn more about the new Magic Key program here.
