Though Walt Disney World theme parks have just started reopening, Disney Springs has been welcoming guests for over a month, with some well-established safety routines and procedures in place. And now that guests have gotten comfortable returning to this location, some interesting changes have been happening in the past few weeks. From the reopening of a long-closed restaurant to some new information about a brand new sweet spot coming soon, here's everything you need to know that's happening right now at Disney Springs!
1. Rainforest Cafe reopens
Though Disney Springs has been open for several weeks now, Landrys-owned Rainforest Cafe did not reopen with the shopping and entertainment district, prompting many to wonder if it would stay closed forever, due to its parent company's financial woes. However, as of this weekend, Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs is back open and welcoming guests with a limited menu and brand new health and safety procedures. Guests who want to stop by this newly-reopened location can make reservations online or stop by between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
2. Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew to take over POP Gallery on Disney Springs West Side
A new eatery named Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew was announced last month and we have learned some new information about this location, which we now know will open in the Pop Gallery location on the West Side at Disney Springs. The location makes sense as this new establishment will be owned by the same parent company as Splitsville, which is located right next door. Unfortunately it looks like the Pop Gallery will close on July 30 to make way for this new location.
