Next, the restraint system and trains should be improved. It is rumored that Kingda Ka utilizes over-the-shoulder restraints due to a law in New Jersey, however, if this is untrue, there is no reason that Kingda Ka shouldn’t have a lap bar like both Red Force and Top Thrill 2.

The lap bar allows for a more open and freeing experience for the riders. If a law does prevent Kingda Ka from utilizing a lap bar, it would not hurt for Six Flags to invest in improved over-the-shoulder restraints. While Kingda Ka's restraints aren't the most bulky, the coaster could use a slimmer vest restraint like Ice Breaker has at Seaworld Orlando. Kingda Ka can be a bit shaky in the back rows, so having a less restrictive restraint could improve the ride experience greatly.

Kingda Ka also needs to have the trim breaks at its peak removed. They were initially installed due to the increased speed of the launch. However, since then, the launch has been slowed, removing the need for these trim breaks. All the trim breaks do now is slow down the crest of the top hat, eliminating the possibility of some great airtime before the train plummets down. Both Top Thrill Dragster and Red Force have not had these trim breaks, and many say that not having the trim breaks makes for a better coaster.

Overall, Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure stands as a remarkable testament to the thrill-seeking spirit of roller coaster enthusiasts. Its record-breaking height and intense speed have made it a legendary icon. However, as with any iconic ride, there's always room for improvement. With a few modifications, Kingda Ka could continue to thrill riders for years to come while continuing to stand tall as one of the best coasters in the world.
