Disney has just announced that later this year, "Hey Disney!" will launch at Walt Disney World. It is being described as a new digital voice assistant which will use Alexa technology for supported Amazon Echo devices to bring Disney characters to life.

Using your Amazon Echo device you will be able to ask questions and the answers will be given from Disney characters. There are supposedly more than 25 popular characters who will be part of the "Hey Disney!" experience including Mickey Mouse, Olaf, Rocket and Groot and Princess Tiana.

As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations, "Hey Disney!" will begin rolling out across select guest rooms at Walt Disney World later this year. Guests will be able to use this service for free during their stay. "Hey Disney!" will also be available to be purchased for supported Amazon Echo devices through the Amazon Alexa Skills store.

The plan in the future will be to also pair MagicBand+ and "Hey Disney!" in order to enhance both services. More details are expected to be released and we will update you when they are announced.
