The Lunar New Year Celebration Event has kicked off at Disney California Adventure Park and it is sure to thrill and entertain guests once more. This event celebrates the year of the Tiger and is only available to enjoy for a limited time, running from now through February 13, 2022.

There is so much on offer at this years event including 'Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession' which has a new red and gold decorated float that Mulan and Mushu arrive upon along with traditional Chinese drummers. There will be daily live twenty minute performances at The Paradise Garden Bandstand Chinese with traditional musical instruments as well as Korean and Vietnamese folk dancers.

If it's Disney characters you are after then you won't be disappointed. Guests will be able to see Tigger, Mulan and Mushu, Mickey and Minnie, and the Three Little Pigs in the Paradise Gardens Gazebo. Raya from the film 'Raya and the Last Dragon' will appear for the first time in the heart of the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. 

A whole host of Asian inspired food and drink will also be available as well as merchandise to celebrate the Lunar new year.
