5 Crucial Things Happening at Walt Disney World in the Next 3 Months

3. Morimoto Asia to open at Disney Springs

Date: September 30th, 2015

Status: Confirmed

Though Jock Linsey’s Hangar Bar will provide guests with an informal dining experience, if you are looking for something a little more classy later this month at Disney Springs, Morimoto Asia is opening just a few days later.

This brand new two-story restaurant will be open daily from 11:30AM to 2:00 AM and will serve lunch and dinner on weekdays. During the weekend, a special brunch seating will be available that will include dim sum. For sushi fans, Morimoto Asia will also have a dedicated raw sushi bar with plenty of unique selections.

For those who want something more substantial, there will be several different dining rooms inside this establishment, including a room with waterfront views and an exhibition kitchen where guests can watch the chefs work. Though a full menu has yet to be released, confirmed dishes include moo shu pork, Peking duck, lobster chow fun, sweet and sour crispy whole fish, and kung pao chicken.

4. Star Wars Launch Bay opens

Date: TBA December

Status: Exact date not confirmed

Earlier this week, construction walls appeared around the former Magic of Disney Animation attraction building that included signage confirming that the Star Wars Launch Bay attraction is indeed coming to the park in December 2015.

In case you missed it, this new walk through attraction will be the center for all things Star Wars until Star Wars Land takes shape, sometime in the distant future. Inside this new attraction, there will be props from new and old Star Warm films, promos for upcoming Star Wars media (movies, TV, etc.), spaces to play new Star Wars inspired video games, exclusive merchandise, character meet and greets and even a quick service dining area that will have Star Wars inspired treats and drinks.

Though we don’t have an exact date for the opening of this new attraction, we’d bet that Disney is rushing to get this attraction ready for primetime in advance of the opening of the new Force Awakens film, which opens on December 18th, 2015…right before Christmas!

5. Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen opens before the end of the year

Date: TBA December

Status: Exact date not confirmed

Though this restaurant was not confirmed until recently, the incredibly-named Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen (known to most as 'The Jungle Cruise restaurant) has been under construction for several months now, and is on track to open before the end of the year. Though substantial changes are being made to the former location of the Adventureland Veranda restaurant (including a second floor expansion), this new restaurant is expected to open in December 2015.

Once open, this new dining location will have multiple themed, dining rooms (including a secret SEA-themed room that club members will appreciate), in-character "skippers" and plenty of Jungle-inspired cuisine offerings. While no official date has been released yet, Disney has confirmed that this new dining location will be open before Christmas, and insiders say this construction project is on track to meet its late 2015 construction goal.

It's hard to believe there's only 100 days left in 2015, but with this year winding down, it's easy to feel like there's nothing special going on at Walt Disney World. However, with a new attraction coming to Disney's Hollywood studios and new eateries opening up at Disney Springs, the Magic Kingdom and more, there's plenty to look forward to!

Meh, I hardly think any of those things are "Crucial!"

"including a secret SEA-themed room that club members will appreciate"

What club, and do you mean "large body of water," "South East Asia," or something else entirely?
