Though guests from all over the world come to Walt Disney World to experience its world class attractions, many guests often find Walt Disney World’s food offerings to be a surprising highlight of their visit.

Like everything else at Walt Disney World, food offerings and menus are constantly changing and being updated with new and exciting options. Here are four new items you can now sample at the parks. But be aware, some of these items are available for a limited time, so if you want to check out all of these new tastes, you’ll have to act fast!

1. Strawberries & Cream Macaron – L’artisan des Glaces (Epcot)

L’artisan des Glaces has unveiled another sweet treat for the spring with its all-new strawberries and cream macaron. The ice cream filling in this macaron is definitely the star of this new snack, and retains the tartness of the fresh strawberries that go into every batch. The chewy macarons surrounding the ice cream feature a light sweetness to them, balancing out the ice cream nicely and creating a perfectly well-rounded snack that is nicely sweet without being overwhelmingly rich.

This macaron is one of the best seasonal items to ever be featured at L’artisan des Glaces (even beating out December's peppermint macaron!), and is a great choice if you want to try something new with an amazingly fresh taste with the perfect blend of sweet, creamy and chewy.

2. Baymax Chocolate Cupcake – Various locations (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)

Looking for something a bit more adventureous? The Baymax Chocolate Cupcake is one of the richest items I’ve had at Walt Disney World in quite some time, and is certainly not for the faint of heart! This decadent cupcake features a dense chocolate cake, topped off with an incredibly sweet banana-flavored buttercream that’s made even richer with a crown of caramel drizzle and candy shavings. And to top it all off? A solid white chocolate Baymax on top!

If you are looking for a challenge, this chocolate cupcake is definitely an amazingly sweet dish, and should only be attempted by those with a big glass of milk or water at the ready. Because of its size (and the density of the cake), we’d also recommend sharing this cupcake with other members of your party.
