Universal Orlando has revealed the latest attraction for its Halloween Horror Nights 2013 events - a haunted house based on cult classic An American Werewolf in London.
The house will feature recognisable scenes from the movie, including the transformation of lead character David from human to werewolf, a chase through the London Underground and an encounter in Piccadilly Circus. The film's director, John Landis, has been working with the Halloween Horror Nights team on the development of the attraction.
Describing the experience, Landis said: "These guys really are passionate about this stuff." Universal Creative's Mike Aiello, meanwhile, said: "For any fan of the movie, it is a completely authentic experience." There will be less emphasis on comedy than in the film, however, with Aiello saying: "We wanted people to be scared out of this maze."
Hosted at Universal Studios Florida, Halloween Horror Nights 2013 will start on September 20, continuing on select nights through November 2.
