Video: Disneyland Paris adds "Brave", "Lion King" scenes to Disney Dreams show

Disney Dreams

Disneyland Paris has debuted an updated version of its popular Disney Dreams night-time show, boasting new scenes based on The Lion King and Brave.

The new additions have replaced the Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book scenes that had been a part of the show since it first opened on March 31, 2012. They have joined existing sections based on Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Ratatouille, Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Tangled and The Princess and the Frog.

Sleeping Beauty Castle is lit up in a variety of colours during performances of Disney Dreams, which borrows elements from the popular Fantasmic! and World of Color shows at Disney's US theme parks. A combination of projections, laser effects and powerful water fountains are used to create the visual effects in the show.

Fan site has posted an outstanding 1080p video of the updated Disney Dreams, which is embedded below:

The video includes a sneak preview of the Disney LightEars that are due to debut at Disneyland Paris in July, priced at €20 per pair. The ears are a renamed version of the Glow With the Show ears that have become very popular (and lucrative) at the Disneyland Resort.
