Tickets for the Discovery Cove premium water park now include 14 days admission to the neighboring SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica parks.
Previously, Discovery Cove guests had only received a pass to one of the two sister attractions. However, both will now be included as SeaWorld Orlando seeks to increase sales of the premium experiences on offer at the smaller park. The cost to enter Discovery Cove starts at $159 (with prices varying depending on the date), although most guests will opt for the Dolphin Swim Package which starts at $319.
The park, which limits attendance to around 1,000 guests per day, aims to offer more intimate experiences than neighboring SeaWorld, such as the swims with dolphins and SeaVenture underwater experience.
Discovery Cove added its first major expansion, the Grand Reef, in June 2011. Later this summer, it will debut the new Freshwater Oasis attraction, which will enable guests to wade or float in a number of "tropical" streams and pools.
