Canada's Wonderland is to auction off seats on the first rides on its highly-anticipated Leviathan roller coaster, which is due to open on April 27, 2012.
The auction is designed to raise money for the SickKids Foundation, and will offer fans the chance to be the first to experience the tallest roller coaster in Canada. Up to 96 seats are available in the auction, with the highest bidders able to choose the best seats.
All 96 successful participants will receive a commemorative gift, a reception dinner and two free admission tickets to Canada's Wonderland on April 27. The auction is now open on the official Leviathan website, with minimum bids set at $75. It will close on April 18, 2012.
Leviathan will feature a 306-feet-tall lift hill, along with an 80-degree first drop and an overbanked turn that will provide riders with a sense of weightlessness. It will become the sixteenth rollercoaster at Canada's Wonderland, placing the park third in the "most coasters at a theme park" charts behind Six Flags Magic Mountain and sister park Cedar Point.
