Busch Gardens Williamsburg will reveal full details of its new rollercoaster for the 2012 season at a special passholder event on September 17, 2011.

Screamscape reports that the park will finally confirm the plans for the new ride, which have been widely leaked online. Expected to be named Verbolten, the coaster will be manufactured by Zierer and is set to feature multiple launch sections.

The previous leaks have revealed that the major addition to Busch Gardens Williamsburg will feature an "autobahn" (highway) theme to match its location in the Germany area of the park, with the ride's trains being themed around cars. In addition to combining launches, special effects and indoor and outdoor sections, it will feature a special element that takes place inside a large show building.

Detailed plans for the new rollercoaster have previously been posted online, but the official announcement will mark the start of a prolonged marketing campaign ahead of the ride's planned debut in spring 2012.
