A new video has been released that shows off the tools that are being employed by construction teams working on the Fantasyland expansion at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.
The video, embedded below, shows how visualization tools are being used to help Disney's Imagineers and subcontractors working on the project. The tools enable the teams to view 3D models of buildings such as the Beast's castle, which will house the Be Our Guest restaurant.
Included in the video is footage of the layout of the ride building that will host Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, which will be one of the headline attractions in the expanded Fantasyland. The ride will be almost identical to The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, which opened at Disney California Adventure on June 3, 2011.
The first new attractions in the updated Fantasyland are set to open by late 2012, with majority of the area due to be in full operation by 2013. In addition to a range of new restaurants and retail outlets alongside the Little Mermaid ride, Disney will also add a new rollercoaster, the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, to the land.
