A new live show based on long-running reality TV show Survivor will debut at Six Flags America and Six Flags New England in Summer 2011.

Survivor Live will be a 30-minute production that will see four randomly-selected audience members compete in contests designed to test their endurance, memory and strength. The show will feature elaborate sets, music and choreography, with a pair of tickets for the season finale of Survivor on offer to the winners.

At Six Flags America, Survivor Live will run on Thursdays through Tuesdays, from May 27 - August 21, August 27-28 and September 3-5. Dates for performances of the show at Six Flags New England have yet to be confirmed.

Survivor is now in its 22nd season on CBS, and sees contestants "stranded" in remote locations. Divided into two tribes, they must be compete in a series of trials with the last person standing at the end of the series winning a $1 million prize. Survivor Live has been developed in conuncion with CBS Consumer Products and New York-based entertainment company RWS and Associates.
