A giant animatronic dragon is once again taking part in performances of the Fantasmic show at Disneyland, several months after a mid-performance collapse forced its removal.
The dragon has been out of action since suffering the major technical failure on August 28. It made its comeback appearance on Friday (November 12), after Disney completed on-site repairs.
The 45-feet-tall dragon was added to Fantasmic in September 2009, after persistent technical problems delayed its debut. The unfortunate creature has been dubbed "Murphy" by fans, in a reference to Murphy's Law (the adage which states "anything that can go wrong, will go wrong").
