Freestyle Music Park has unveiled a new children's area, Kids in America, which features four new rides.
The new zone will replace the former Banana Splitsville area. It will open on Memorial Day weekend along with the rest of the park, which was recently rescued by new owners following bankruptcy in its first season (when it was known as Hard Rock Park).
The new rides in the area will include:
- Life Is A Highway - a flat track ride featuring "18 wheeler" ride vehicles
- Wheels In The Sky - a flying bicycle ride
- Fly Like An Eagle - a kite flyer ride
- Get Off Of My Cloud - a balloon ride offering a "spectacular view of Freestyle Music Park"
As well as the four new rides, Kids in America will also feature the former Shake, Rattle and Rollercoaster - now renamed Hang Ten.
Photos of the new rides can be found on the Discover Myrtle Beach forum.
