The Zambezi Zinger returned in 2023, re-imagined as a high-speed African safari. It is a hybrid coaster that is named after the former Zambezi Zinger that operated from 1973-1997. It is the first new coaster at Worlds of Fun in over a decade. Riders travel in new Infinity Flyer Trains along the ride's galvanized steel and wood hybrid frame. Guests drop from a spiral lift hill into a low-to-the-ground track that races through the trees and terrain of the African Serengeti.
