Key Information
In a park that likes to try and secure “first-of-a-kind” attractions, it’s no surprise to find that Cobra is the only Gerstlauer Bobsled roller coaster in the UK. Opened in 2006 at a cost of £2 million, the snake-themed ride sees guests seated in small cars that can hold up to 4 at a time. The attraction combines the sharp twists and turns of a “Wild Mouse”-style coaster with more traditional hills and drops, packing a large number of elements into its compact circuit. While it hits a relatively low top speed of 31 miles per hour, Cobra’s circuit features a number of hills designed to provide a sensation of weightlessness.
