One of the best disney rides ever. Single rider line is the key

This ride ,while borrowing test tracks ride system, is a unparalleled experience in any park thus far. I cant speak too much for the queu as I rode it several times from the single rider line. The ride itself is a tour deforce of Disney magic. Engulfing you in the world of cars, this ride takes you on a thoroughly entertaining trip through radiator springs. You don't need to see the movie to be entertained, but you do need to see it I feel to be amazed. Unfortunately due to A. the popularity of cars and B. this being by far the best ride at Cali Adventure, wait times will continue to be very long. Walt would be very pleased with this fine addition.

Great Ride - Not sure it is worth a two hour wait

Went on this ride on March and it was spectacular - it felt like you were in the animated movie. First part was just cruising through, but very well done and hit on most of the story points as you went through. Turning the first corner to see the waterfall was amazing. The racing part was fun, not scary and there are no big drops, but it feels very fast. You get the feel of driving in a convertible at high speed on a palm desert road.

My son and I went to get the fast pass first thing in the morning and at 10:40 we were told we may not get a pass and they closed the line - the line to get a fast pass. Crazy. We did get one - but for 10:00 that night almost 12 hours later. I would suggest trying the single rider line, it averaged between 35-45 minutes wait when we were there and that was fine. The regular line at one point had a wait of over 2.5 hours.

Good ride, BAD queue

It's a new ride, so no surprises! We arrived at 9.00. 50 minute queue just for the FastPass, which ran out just before we got there, so be warned - get in early!
However, we then went straight to the single riders queue. Would have only waited 40 mins but there were breakdowns so 75 mins in total. Main queue was 150 mins!
Despite all that, it's a great ride! Starts through scenes from the Cars film, watch out as your ride gets pimped! Then it's a fast 2 car race.
It's similar to Test Track but IMHO better and more fun.
