Walt Disney World is offering up to 40% off standard room rates at select resort hotels for travel between October 4 and December 24, 2009.

Savings range from around 28% off standard rates for Value Resorts, to 39% off Deluxe Villa Resorts. The exact saving depends on the precise date of travel, with late November / early December providing the lowest prices of all at $59 plus tax per night for a standard room.

A calendar showing when each level of discount is available can be found on Disney's website. Travel must be booked by October 31.
