JAWS, Universal

Since the announcement that Universal's Third Gate, Epic Universe, is now scheduled to open in time for summer 2025, there has been certainly been a lot of excitement from Universal fans. It has been confirmed that there will be a whole land dedicated to Universal Classic Monsters which has given fans hope that iconic figures may return to be enjoyed once again.

There is currently a petition online to bring back JAWS The Ride to Universal Studios Florida which so far has over 1,000 signatures. You may say 1,000 signatures is nothing but this petition is now being picked up in a number of forums and is starting to gain momentum.

We think it is very unlikely that Universal will bring JAWS back to Universal Studios Florida or Universal's Islands of Adventure but what about Epic Universe? As already mentioned we know Epic Universe is set to have a whole land to celebrate Universal's Classic Monsters so could JAWS return here?

We currently don't have any further details as to what will be included in the Classic Monsters Land at Epic Universe but if there continues to be an online push to bring back JAWS, perhaps Universal will listen and fans can hope that the mighty shark may be represented in some way in Universal's Third Gate.
