The new RiverRush water coaster has debuted at Dollywood's Splash Country water park, with the park releasing an official "point-of-view" video to mark the occasion.
RiverRush sees riders boarding 4-person rafts before traversing a 25-foot, 45-degree first drop. The ride's circuit also includes three additional drops, with linear induction motors being used to propel the rafts uphill in some sections. After navigating these, guests plunge through a series of twists and turns before emerging back onto dry land.
The full ride experience can be seen in the POV video, embedded below:
The new addition to Splash Country is similar in style to the record-breaking Mammoth water coaster, which opened at Holiday World last year. Its circuit is slightly shorter, though, reaching a total length of 1,175-feet.
