Buena Vista Street concept art

Disney has released a new video showing off the latest exhibits at Disney California Adventure's Blue Sky Cellar, including models of several upcoming additions to the park.

The video, embedded below, features footage of models and designs for the Buena Vista Street entrance plaza, as well as the Red Car Trolley attraction that will be a central feature of the updated area. It also shows off designs for Cars Land, the major expansion based on Pixar's Cars movies that is due to open in summer 2012.

Buena Vista Street will be designed to evoke 1920s-era Los Angeles, as it would have appeared when Walt Disney himself migrated there. Named after the Burbank street upon which the animator's original studios are located, the area will replace Sunshine Plaza as the entranceway to Disney California Adventure.

Anchored by Radiator Springs Racers, a $200 million E-Ticket attraction, Cars Land marks the final phase of a $1.1 billion series of upgrades to Disney California Adventure. The 12-acre addition will also feature two other new rides - Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi's Flying Tires. It will also be home to two new dining locations (Fillmore's Taste In and Flo's V8 Café) and two retail outlets (Ramone's House of Body Art and Sarge's Surplus Hut).
