Drayton Manor's Thomas Land to open for extra weekends in November 2011

Thomas Land entrance

Drayton Manor has confirmed that its Thomas Land area will open for an extra two weekends in November 2011, with the park offering 2-for-1 entry during the period.

Thomas Land and Drayton Manor's zoo will both open on November 12-13 and 19-20 from 10.30am to 2.30pm. Full price tickets will cost £24, with one guest aged 4 and over able to enter for free with each one purchased. To take advantage of the offer, a printable voucher must be downloaded from the Drayton Manor website.

The park's full season ended on October 30, and its other attractions will remain closed until the start of the 2012 season. However, Drayton Manor has decided to prolong the operation of Thomas Land, which has proven to be a massive success since its opening in March 2008.

Earlier this year, Thomas Land saw its first new addition when the Blue Mountain Engines attraction made its debut. A Zamperla Junior Regatta ride, it features four themed carriages based on characters from the Thomas & Friends universe.
