SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa raise single-day ticket prices

SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay have both raised the price of a single-day ticket, although online discounts are still available.

SeaWorld has raised the regular, single-day adult admission price to $78.95 (from $74.95), while Busch Gardens Tampa has pushed the price of a single-day adult ticket up by $5 to $74.95. However, both parks are currently offering 2 days for the price of 1, plus adult tickets at child prices when buying online.

A range of cheaper deals can be found for those planning on visiting more than one theme park during a Florida visit. The Orlando FlexTicket Plus allows 14 consecutive days of unlimited access to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Wet n' Wild, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Tampa. It is available for $264 plus tax via UndercoverTourist.com. If visiting Discovery Cove, it can often be cheaper overall to pay extra for an Ultimate ticket, which includes 14 days unlimited entry to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica.

Florida residents can buy a Fun Card for SeaWorld or Busch Gardens online for $69.95 (via the SeaWorld or Busch Gardens websites). These allow unlimited entry with no black-out dates for a year, and therefore represent excellent value next to a single-day ticket.

Theme Park Tourist will be launching a ticket price comparison tool for popular theme parks including SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa after Christmas.
