Super Nintendo World is a major new themed area originally scheduled to open in July 2020 in time for the Tokyo Olympics it opened early in 2021. The land is aimed at appealing to lovers of the Nintendo games and its main ride attraction is the Mario Kart ride.  Super Nintendo World is heavily themed and highly interactive using state of the art technologies. Visitors can purchase a "Power Up Band" which will pair up with the park's app and turn the visit into an interactive game where users can collect points and digital coins and compete on challenges with other guests.
