Key Information
Six Flags Over Georgia's version of Superman: Ultimate Flight was the first Bolliger & Mabillard Flying Coaster to open in the US, and the second in the world (after Air at Alton Towers). As with all rides of its type, it aims to recreate the experience of flying. Guests board the ride in a seated position, but the seats rotate to leave them facing the ground before the train climbs the opening lift hill.
After plummeting down a 100-foot first drop and hitting a top speed of 51 miles per hour, riders race through a series of twists, turns and inversions, including a pretzel loop and an inline twist.
