Key Information
Opened in 2006 at a cost of £6 million, Kumali is one of three Vekoma Suspended Looping Coasters (SLCs) in the UK. It features an African theme, complete with its own theme song that plays in the queue line.
Riders are seated in trains that are suspended underneath the coaster’s track, enabling their feet to swing freely. The ride’s opening 111-feet drop sees it hit a top speed of 55 miles per hour, before it races around a series of additional hills, turns and inversions. This includes the first cobra roll ever to feature in a Vekoma SLC.
