Alton Towers latest new ride opened in Spring 2021.  The ride is based on David Walliams' book and Alton Towers said the ride will "whizz, twist and spin passengers 360° through a series of scenes where they will see, feel, hear and even smell an electrifying and unique re-telling of the Gangsta Granny story". There are special effects, and 3D projections and animation so guests are fully immersed into the story. Guests jump on board a Royal Carriage, setting off on a Crown Jewels tour before being caught up in Ben and Granny's mischievous plans to steal the jewels.

The ride is located in a new themed area of the park called "The World of David Walliams".  The new land  features other new or re-themed attractions including Raj's Shop, a Royal Carousel (formerly the Gallopers), and Raj's Bouncy Bottom Burp (formerly the Frog Hopper drop tower).

Guests can also able to stay in a special Gangsta Granny themed room in the Alton Towers Hotel.
