We are passholders and were there in November. I do not like the new system. We park hop and are used to getting 8-9 fast passes a day if not more. We also do not usually stay on property as we have family in town. If we did stay on site, my sister-in-law would not be able to ride those rides with us as she would not be able to get hers until that day. We have been loyal Disney customers for 2 decades and I feel like I am being pushed away.

I think there should be a tier system for guests staying on property. and there should be a limit on these. Also there should be a perk for pass-holders. We are here year after year giving revenue to the parks. and little by little it becomes more difficult to enjoy the parks. I have been to the park and brought guests who stay with me and we could not get on anything. we had to go on the paddle boat just to get on something. what a disappointment and waste of their money i was embarrassed . The wait times were the longest I had ever seen. And this was not a Holiday rush . Do you follow the wait times at the parks....Crazy!! You are only doing the fast pass to promote people to stay on property. it should be open to all who get a ticket, that would be fair. Or I think we should go back to nothing and stand in line as we used to , this is only a marketing tool and does not affect the flow of the line. now when you get a fast pass, you have a decent wait time in that line as well.
This system is really not a good one, like I said just a tool.

Also on th fast pass+ . If I only want one it chooses two more for me and I can't delete them unless I delete even the one I really want . Some rides I can't do and if they remain on then I couldn't choose anymore. It should just let you choose 1,2, or 3.

We were there in Dec. and did not like the new FP system at all. We were also there with two mentally/physically challenged men that we are home providers for so we got a double whammy. The new system for people with challenges is horrible!! It actually discriminates against them. Walt Disney would be appealed by this. We were considering becoming DVC members but unless they remedy these issues we won't be doing that. We are at the point of just staying off property and doing more with other pasrks also. Sad ass we have been doing Disney for years.

The new system for guests with disabilities is completely fair. You dont get a walk on free card because your guest has a disability. The new system almost mirrors that used at Universal. The idea is to provide you a time to return to the busy ride while you can go experience other attractions so you have to spend less time waiting in line. Its apparent that you think you should be able to walk onto any ride at any time because of the guests you accompany. Its also apparent that you see these guests as a burden hence your description of them in your post. You as the responsible party have to assess wether or not taking these guests to Disney is a viable option that they can handle due to there circumstances. Disney strives to make its experiences something everyone can take part in.

I am a passholder and I want to also be able to use this system at home. I live 8 miles from Disney and I will not pay money to just stay at a resort just to get any benefit of a fastpass+! Also we can park hop and they need to remove the restrictions and have it multipark same day. Disney will really lose out on big time money if they keep this way. Only way they keep me from leaving is, my family can PARK-TO-PARK and we are spending money and I'd they keep it like this, we'll go home and eat instead of buying dinner and also snacking too. Not smart Disney to ignore the PASSHOLDERS!

I would agree about the park hopping. When I was there earlier this month I went to Epcot in the morning and Magic Kingdom in the afternoon. I used my Fastpasses at Epcot but it was dead and wasn't really worth it. Got to the Magic Kingdom and it was SUPER busy and I didn't get to ride most of my favorite rides because the lines were so long and I couldn't Fastpass. So, add me to the voices who hope they allow it because it does take the allure away from park hopping.

More important than Fast pass is Disneys punishing legitimate handicapped people. I'm a combat disabled veteran, and waiting in lines for hours was very hard for me. And Disney "Cast Members" could care less...

I agree. If people were taking advantage of it, shame on them! Instead of implementing their new system, they should still use the old system and take guest pictures or even ask for a medical note. That is just my opinion.

They can't ask for a note. It's against the law.

Why should a handicap person and their family get a 0-10 min. wait for rides and non-handicap a 30-80 min? You still get to do the ride but instead of not waiting in line you get to wait in a building with AC. Be happy with parking spaces.

You're right. Those handicapped people should have to wait for 30-80 minutes. I mean, their life is just like ours everywhere else, so why not at Disney.
I'm sorry. People with disabilities have it much harder in life. People without disabilities take it for granted that they can jump on an escalator, use any bathroom stall, go to a restaurant without needing to find a special table.... It's Disney-the place where dreams come true! For once, a person with disabilities should get the edge over people like me who do not have disabilities. I have no problem seeing a person with disabilities "cut in line." And don't think that a person with disabilities has to sit in a wheelchair. Many with disabilities are able to walk, but again, that doesn't mean that they should have to wait in line for 30-80 minutes.

I'd like ONE more restriction to fall. I want the ability to get Fastpasses for different parks!

Toy Story Mania in the morning, Soarin' in the afternoon. Otherwise, there is little incentive to get a park hopper ticket.

I agree 100%. It also seems counterproductive for Disney, since it makes park hopping not as attractive of an option.
If I knew I was restricted to attractions at say DHS, for example. Why would I purchase a park hopper if I know I will wait for three hours at Soarin' if I leave the park?
I don't see this sticking. It's too much of a wasted money opportunity for Disney. Like every new idea at Disney, it's a work in progress and will always be in flux.

My wife and I used FP+, with a park hopper in November. It worked out very well; we were able to book fastpasses for the busier part of the day, the hop over to whichever park had EMH that day. Or, do the opposite; morning EMH in one park, then head to another, where you've booked fastpasses. We were able to do Expedition Everest, Kilamanjaro Safaris, Soarin', and Test Track on the same day with no waiting in long lines (there were no tier restrictions).

I thought the old fastpass was great it was fair and well liked. The new fastpass plus seems too technical....too much planning. I prefer to be able to change park at the drop of a hat and get a fastpass if available!!
