Even as I write this review, I still can't quite understand the reasoning why Captain EO was ever created, or how there could be anyone who enjoys it. My assumption is that in the early 80's, which was the Michael Jackson decade, EVERYONE wanted to cash in on his fame. That's the only possible explanation for it.

Captain EO is a loud, nonsensical semi-scifi movie/video starring Michael Jackson (and directed by Francis Ford Coppola) that's nothing short of a waste of time. I'm sure it's 3D visuals were cutting edge for the time, but today they're HORRIBLE, as is the entire show itself.

Captain EO had later been replaced by a better (at least effects-wise) show called "Honey I Shrunk the Audience", but that in recent years was done away with....and what did they replaced that one with? Inexpicably....Captain EO.

There is NOTHING good about this show whatsoever. No good story, no good music, no good visual effects. There is also no good reason to go and check it out unless the Florida sun is so hot and beating down on you so hard that you are nearby and must escape into an air-conditioned building.
