Coming from Missouri and the St. Louis Zoo, it takes something truly unique to make me remember it as far as animals are concerned. The Maharajah Jungle Trek bats do just that.

While the dragons and tigers are neat to see, the bats are what continue to stick out in my mind from the 'Trek. The bats featured in the attraction are some of the largest bats in the world, even having a classification of their own known as "megabat".

These "megabats" end up with a wingspan over five feet long, so the Maharajah Jungle Trek is definitely something to check out just to see these humongous bats.
