One of Walt's Creations with WED for the World's Fair, as Progressland, this amazing technology for 1964 still gets my visit every time I am in the park.
You enter the theater along with up to 240 others, and as the show begins the theater stage stays put but the 6 sections of seating move from one section to the next as you travel through the years.
After its very successful run at the NY World's fair 1964-1965, the ride made its way to Disneyland in California before making its final stop here at the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort.
This ride takes you through the years with a family with an unforgettable song by the Disney Legends, the Sherman Brothers.
Although its not entirely current, and isn't as exciting as say its neighbor, Space Mountain.
It is a great ride to remember how great WED and Walt's Vision was back in the 60's.
Anything that has Walt's Fingerprints on it, deserves a ride, and this is one of them.
So next time you are in tomorrowland, laughing at some monsters, zooming from spaceport to spaceport, take a ride on the Carousel of Progress, and see how life changes!
