4. "So...so...animated"

Dewayne Bevil of the Orlando Sentinel stops short of posting a full review, but does provide us with "Seven things about Disney's Seven Dwarfs Mine Train". Bevil was very impressed by the new-style audio-animatronic characters. "Those faces, ... so ... so ... animated." And he highlights a moment early in the ride when Heigh-Hobegins playing in the background, saying: "All the parks toss the word "immersive" around, but I was buying into it there." We won't spoil it here, but Bevil also enjoyed the ride's ending sequence, which Disney has been excluding from preview videos: "I like the last, possibly horrifying, note of the ride. That's all I'm saying."

3. "This is how the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs should be told"

John Frost of The Disney Blogsuggests that riders shouldn't restrict themselves to a single spin around on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, saying: "I rode the attraction three more times after [my first ride]. Once in the front, the middle, and the back. They all have different experiences." Although he hasn't yet posted a detailed review, Frost is another fan of the new ride: "For now, let’s just say this gem fits nicely in the the jeweled crown of Fantasyland. In a few years it will seem like it’s been there forever and this is how the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs should be told."

2. "Like a cartoon that jumped off the paper"

The excellent folks over at Theme Park Reviewwere on hand to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and compared it to the stunning attractions at Tokyo DisneySea, the most expensive theme park ever built: "I still think [New Fantasyland] is the only place in any US Disney park that looks remotely like something you'd find at Tokyo DisneySea." The ride is, as Disney promised, not as thrilling as some of Disney's other coasters: "Here is what the ride is - a great family attraction that's the perfect middle step between Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain. Remember guys, it has a 38' height restriction. It's the perfect definition of a 'family coaster.'" The dark ride section was "shorter that I thought it was going to be", but "looked FANTASTIC". The projection mapped faces "look like a cartoon that jumped off the paper", and overall the attraction is "a million times better than the old and busted-looking Snow White Scary Adventures" (the dark ride that was removed as part of the New Fantasyland project).

1. "It has got some thrills to it"

Deb Koma and Deb Wills of AllEars.net both rode the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at least twice - once at the back, and once at the front. Both believe that the coaster is very different when riding in the front, with Koma saying that it is "not a true thrill ride like Expedition Everest but it has got some thrills to it". Wills, meanwhile, says that the experience was "much faster and much rougher...a lot more fun" when sitting at the front. The animatronics are again highlighted as one of the ride's best features, with Koma describing them as "amazing". And the finale is also again pinpointed as one of the most impressive elements, with Wills promising: "You have to really look around yourself at the end to see something really special."
