Originally opened in 1984 as the Emerald of Anaheim, the Disneyland Resort's second hotel was acquired by Disney in 1995 and renamed as the Disneyland Pacific Hotel. It was revamped to its current format in 2000, to tie in with the Paradise Pier area of Disney California Adventure. Boasting 489 rooms, the hotel also features a large rooftop swimming pool and water slide, several restaurants and a video games arcade.
