Disney Vs Universal, it will surely always be one of the greatest rivalries. In our latest debate we asked, Disney Vs Universal, Which Wins The Best Ride Of The Century (So Far)? This was a follow up to our debate which discovered which you thought was the worst attraction of the Century (so far).

As we discussed, there have been so many amazing rides and attractions in the 21st Century that it was actually quite difficult to formulate a shortlist.

The contenders included Soarin' Over California, Expedition Everest, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for Sunken Treasure at Shanghai Disneyland, Mystic Manor, Radiator Springs Racers, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue and TEST TRACK "2.0". I can hear you saying, "these are all Disney rides" and indeed you are correct. 

To make the competition fair, I chose two rides from Disney and two from Universal for you to vote on. This has been a popular debate and the results are now in...

RESULTS

• Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure - 46%
• STAR WARS: Rise of the Resistance - 38%
• AVATAR Flight of Passage - 10%
• Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey - 7%

So it appears that the true competition was actually between Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and STAR WARS: Rise of the Resistance with the victor being Universal with Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure having taken 46% of the total vote.

We are always open to suggestions at Theme Park Tourist and I promised to include a list of any other rides that you deemed to be the best from this Century so far in this article. With so many people agreeing with the choices already given, the only other that was offered was not one but a whole theme park, Cedar Point. Indeed Cedar Point has become known as a rollercoaster capital of the world and Millennium Force which opened on May 13, 2000 and is now an iconic coaster of the park, definitely earns its place on the list.
