The Curse of Skull Rock comes to Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor is to launch a new 4D cinema attraction for the beginning of the 2009 season.

The first film to be shown in the 152-seat theatre will be The Curse of Skull Rock, an adventure story about pirates. In addition to 3D images, the experience will include moving seats, water spray, air blasts and other effects familar from rides such as Shrek 4D (at Universal's parks in the US).

The Curse of Skull Rock's plot will sound familiar to Pirates of the Caribbean fans, featuring as it does a quest to find a lost,cursed treasure. It has an excellent reputation, though, having won the Best Children’s Animated Film award at the Stuttgart Film Festival.
